HUGO CONCHA
Hispanic Director
EFCA Southeast

Hugo Concha serves as the Hispanic Director for EFCA Southeast. Born and raised in Chile, South America, Hugo received a clear call to pastoral ministry while serving in his home church in Santiago, Chile. As a young man, he also ministered with Youth With A Mission in Paraguay, deepening his passion for discipleship and mission. In 2003, Hugo moved his young family to Lebanon, Pennsylvania, to serve with the EFCA as a pastor and church planter.

In 2016, Hugo and his wife, Gissella—who is a vital partner in every aspect of his ministry—relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, where they continue to serve the Lord together. Hugo and Gissella have three sons, two of whom are married, and they are grateful to the Lord for their four beautiful grandchildren.

Alongside his regional responsibilities, Hugo also serves nationally as the Co-Coordinator for Hispanic Ministries for the EFCA, working together with Alex Rivero to support Hispanic district leaders, encourage pastoral health, and strengthen the growth and vitality of Hispanic churches throughout the movement.
